Occupational Therapy

Dumas Physical Therapy’s occupational therapy program is designed to help people through all stages of life. Occupational therapy helps people recover from injury, illness, disability or other conditions in order to improve — and maintain — the ability to perform essential daily activities. Treatment plans are customized to meet each person’s needs so they can continue things they need and want to do, including daily activities at home, school or work, as well as self-care.

  • Pediatric occupational therapy helps children develop the skills necessary for growth, independence, and functionality, addressing challenges related to physical impairments, injuries, or developmental delays.
  • For adults and older patients, occupational therapy focuses on improving or maintaining the ability to perform everyday tasks, enhancing independence and overall quality of life.

Whether helping a child build foundational skills or assisting an adult in regaining functional independence, our therapists provide compassionate, individualized care tailored to each patient’s unique journey.
